That's interesting John. I think the part where I disagree is that we have a social responsibility to also protect others, particularly the most vulnerable.

So people "interested in living rather than staying alive" are making a decision for others that may be interested more in staying alive.

For some of us living is not about restaurants and shopping-- it is about taking care of others, educating, and building community and national excellence and opportunity.

We may have stumbled on the dividing line. Those concerned with self shun precaution. Those concerned with others embrace it.

That's not ascribing right and wrong, it just is the difference.
