Thanks Nelson. If you look at Figure 1, panel A, the mice in the first experiment that ate the oil always weighed more than those eating control chow. It is very clear, but not statistically separable likely because of the small numbers of animals used in the variation between them. The means and trends are clear, and statistically separate at 10 months (where error bars are small). Odd that they miss this in their letter. And thanks for that other article. That’s a winner. Ugh.
