I’ve been saying this for a long time, and the process just seems to be accelerating. A lot of this was described back in the Book of the SubGenius and the work from Devo back in the 1980’s. The movie Idiocracy was supposed to be satire, but in 2006 they made predictions about 2500A.D. that have come true in ten years. The big question is, when will we bottom out? Maybe that’s now, and the crawl out will be as slow as the descent in.
